Co-Founder and Managing Director

Yann is co-founder and Managing Director of FFS, bringing more than 14 years of in-depth knowledge, software development experience and expertise in high-performance trading technology to the Company.

Yann joined First Futures in the year 2000 and has spearheaded research and development of several significant trading solutions with a primary focus on the design and engineering of applications that deliver unparalleled performance, scalability, reliability and usability; mainly in the fields of electronic exchange connectivity, order management and automated trading systems. His short- to long-term visions substantiated the foundation of First Futures Software, thriving to a new generation of software solutions for the financial capital markets.

Yann leads the research and development of our trading system platform with a very distinctive approach on visual modeling, analysis and optimization of complex process- and data flows on the basis of artificial intelligence techniques and expert systems.

His intercultural openness and activities are a beneficial key aspect to our modern and multi-national company culture with widening and sustaining collaborations.

Yann holds the degree "Diplom-Informatiker (FH)" (similar to Masters of Computer Science) of the University of Applied Sciences, Konstanz, Germany.

Naveen Kumar
Director of Software Development/Principal Architect

As the Director of Software Development at FFS, Naveen provides vivid recollections and a forward vision for delivering innovative products and solutions to worldwide financial market participants. As the Principal Architect at FFS, he also leads the design, development and integration of different FFS product lines for delivering total solutions in the areas of real-time electronic trading system design and global market connectivity.

With over 13 years of experience in software engineering, product design, solution architecture and quality assurance, Naveen provides the key technical team leadership at FFS. His development team is matchless in knowledge, commitment and the drive to build cost-effective and cutting edge technology solutions for global connectivity, Direct Market Access (DMA), FIX/FAST Protocol implementation, trading workflow automation, pluggable components based trading systems and Straight Through Processing (STP) of messages. Naveen has been the driving force behind the Company’s FF.FIX product line, including the visionary products like FF.FIX Engine and the Company’s flagship product Endeavone EMS.

Naveen is actively involved in the research and development for novel ideas and a foresight into market trends and technology. His deep theoretical knowledge together with splendid programming and quantitative skills are the prime assets in the design of specialized and expert solutions in the domains of algorithmic trading, trading system optimization, market data distribution, charting, trading frontends and low latency real-time systems.

Prior to joining First Futures, Naveen served in senior software engineering positions at Quark Software R&D, Germany and India for the design and development of their enterprise commercial products. He was also a recipient of best performer award during his tenure of around 4 years at Quark.

Naveen holds a Bachelor's degree in Science and Master's degree in Computer Science and Applications.

Satish Kumar
Head of Operations

Satish Kumar, as the Head of Operations at FFS, is responsible for the overall business development initiatives, including adoption and implementation of quality Human Resource practices.

Satish is an interface between software developers and the Management. He manages and directs all key operations like statutory and regulatory work and collaborates with local and international consultants. His extensive knowledge and experience in personnel administration and organization maintenance are the key assets of First Futures.

Satish holds a Master's degree in Management and has over 12 years of industry experience. In his past career, he has set up and successfully rolled a profitable company for communication and soft skills. He has also officiated as a consultant to various Engineering and Management Institutions.
