Compliance with FIX and Non-FIX Protocols

The FIX Protocol is now an industry standard for the exchange of order/trade messages and message formats. FF.Trader is fully FIX compliant, which makes it more versatile for its integration with external FIX-based applications.

For communicating with non-FIX compliant exchanges, it uses the exchange-specific Adapters. These Adapters convert orders in the FIX format into the exchange protocol compliant format and vice versa. This makes FF.Trader a single application capable of connecting to any Sell-side party.

Direct Market Access capabilities

For using FF.Trader, the existence of an Algorithmic Trading, OMS, FIX Engine or any other order generating platform is not essential. It connects to Sell-side parties using Adapters. It can load these Adapters directly or through the order generating application. This feature makes FF.Trader completely flexible in implementing the DMA capabilities.
