The need for customization

Electronic trading systems have variable demands from different clients all around the world. These demands change frequently with new emerging technologies and market trends. Geographical influence and business preferences contribute to these variable demands. While designing a trading system, it is impossible for software vendors to anticipate all future needs and trends. In addition, it is equally impossible for users to discard their existing trading system, just because of small changes in market trends, technology, processes or business rules. This makes the trading system upgrade and customization an essential activity in all organizations.

Our Rapid Customization Team (RCT) is developed with an emphasis on re-engineering of existing trading systems and providing niche nano solutions as well as small scale customization; just as the clients need them.

At FFS, we have rightly identified the need of clients for small upgrades and customizations. These client needs, however small, are important to us. The required changes, though they appear small, can improve the performance and efficiency of the trading workflow significantly. We refer to the solutions for the small scale upgrades and customizations as Nano solutions.

Our RCT critically analyzes the legacy systems of clients and then decides the components to be added to update and customize them. This approach improves the scalability, uniformity, modularity and efficiency of the existing trading systems. The custom components that we provide help clients to increase compliance with the latest trading trends, remove bottlenecks and streamline the trading process. While developing Nano solutions, our goal is to provide cost effectiveness, reduce risks and have minimal interference with the regular system functionality.
